I usually lean toward The NY Times when I'm looking for articles to educate myself about current events and related matters, though their Fashion & Style section is pretty good, as well. This article (as I should have guessed), falls under that category, and it is quite an interesting read.
The author, Mandy Len Catron, who writes a "Modern Love" column, discusses love - and how psychologists are quite curious to figure out if they can "make" it happen between two individuals. Imagine. Catron explains that in the midst of a breakup, she also "turned to science, hoping there was a way to love smarter," and she set out to see what would happen if she, too, could "make" herself fall in love.
Catron refers to a study she learned about in college, which was done by Arthur Aron, and requires that two individuals spend time together discussing answers to these 36 questions. Super interesting if you give them all a read; a few of them really made me really wonder what my answers would be. Some of the questions are simple, i.e. I know my answer immediately, and others - not so much. Number 7, for instance. Whoa.
I don't want to give anything away, but I was hooked throughout this entire article, and I sped through it quite quickly; it's like a great book that you just can't put down - except much shorter. And that's exactly how a great article should make you feel. All in all, I learned once again to not judge a book by its cover..or an article by its title. Take a peek and read it when you have a chance.

I saw this a couple days ago too - such an interesting concept! Now, just to find a suitable candidate to test the theory out on!
